BF2142 Squad VOIP Teamwork 9 "Wiped them of the Map"

Map is Big Bad Berlin and we wiped their team of the Map !
At the end, as we go in for the last flag, I zoom the video in on the minimap and all you can see are red dots !
Filmed on a great European server for talking teamwork in squads - servername 'Squadplay all the way' - 84.244.186.242 : 16567

FileFront now has a embedded video and I find it the best for picture sharpeness (better than googlevideo or youtube), however I have a 8Mb broadband now. If you have a half Mb broadband can you post a reply in this thread if its watchable for you.

Wow - I love how you wrote down tactics and toughts in there. More Squadmovie people should do that.

Awesome movie! I really like the the fact you wrote down all the used tactics, like Lyramion already said. I think I'm gonna use them too, like the excellent use of the squad beacon (which I never used really) and the slow moving, I'm most of the time like "RUSH, RUSH, RUSH!" but that has it's plusses too of course

It appears that they throttle bandwidth at 4Mbits/sec so it wouldn't matter

Dirtylude's thread about recording your own voip in fraps recording is a good resource.I am having issues with getting my own voice to record. my sound levels seem to drop in a big way when I start recording. Im going to have to tweak it more to get it right.

I think I'll take the comments idea for the commander video. I took some commander FRAP's and I was trying to comment on things I was doing, but it's not working out well for the final video and with editing. I think I'll just redo it with text descriptions.

Text descriptions and zoom in are the best methods for instruction (although I haven't tried voiceover, but my vids are about live action from real games). On infantry scanner, at the end, I zoom in on the minimap and you see an APC around the corner, I then call for Hidus to come in engineer, this second to second editing shows people how I act on situational awareness in a tactical way. You could do a similar kind of thing.

Last scene was a bizarre physics engine moment where I shoot him and he flys to one side ... made me laugh anyway
