24/3 Berlin - dear PAC Team pls take a look up at the monorail !

The round before our team was really bad on Berlin. We were unable to get or hold any back flag and lost.

This round didnt start too promising either. We quickly lost crossroads. But when I spawned on my SL I spawned directly inside the gunner seat. I made some kills and somehow we died.

We got the APC again and I made some more kills at roadblock facing crossroads. But all of a sudden the enemy walker came around the corner. The first rockets knocking our APC down to 20%. The driver pulled back but I knew it was too late. I smashed my fingers somewhere towards teh region of F5 and F6 and pushed my right mouse button.

My Pod flew up as the APC under my feet blew up. I managed to land up on top of the monorail right above roadblock. I made myself a home there. Put down my IDS-1. Threw nades down - resupply myself by taking the box into my hands - not putting it down because the enemy might see it. Prone to take cover then crouch to claim a poor soul with my gun.

Well I was awaiting the hot air of some rockets every second but noone ever bothered. I bet the enemy team must have tought I am a cheating wallhacker and that I am hiding inside a building.

At the end of the round I had 30 APC kills 30 Bianchi and 11 Nade kills.

So next time you seem to faint at roadblock without any reason please look UP

Even though the screenshot doesn't display it, I'm pretty sure I was in that round. And I know my squad leader (Who I think was FatKid from the 9th) heard me asking more times than he liked: "Where the ... is Lyra shooting us from?"

I think the best answer was a dry: "The next country over..."

But seriously, I was scanning the Monorail and I did not see anything on it. You had an excellent position, Lyra, and you were just slaughtering us. As much as I love having you on my team, I loath having you on the other team.

And so help us when the gunships get better shields and the miniguns get more power.

lol i remember this round! i was on lyra's team, but not in his squad - and i was thinking, how is he getting all those kills?! i would occasionally tab in for the score and look at the stats in disbelief - grats on the round lyra ^_^

Great job, we had used this tactic a few last week when I was an SL. I ended up up there the same way that you did, but I layed my beacon and we just tore the enemy up from there. Good going Lyramion!
