Quite a good trailer could be one of those films which is better than MI:3 but nothing too special

Looks pretty bad imo...especially if you watch the US trailer.

I mean I don't know what your seeing but here is what I'm seeing:

- Really over the top action. Is this Transporter 3? I'm all for some crazy action sequences but some of this looks really silly.

- Did they really pull out the kidnapped daughter storyline? Can't we think of something better?

- Timothy Olyphant as main villian?...really? Thats the best they could do for this major franchise?

- I'm going to have to sit through the movie with Justin Long tagging along as the annoying sidekick? Ugh..."wow Mr Mclaine your awesome"..."Hey Mr Mclaine let me ask a dumb question so you can then explain something to the audience"

- Rest of cast completely unappealing. MI: 3 had a good supporting cast...almost everyone in this flick looks like they were hand picked to appeal to a teenage audience.

- The director of the Underworld series? Yep...this is going to suck.

I guess I have a little shred of hope that this could be a fun throwaway popcorn flick(like the transporter series)...still thats not what I look for in a Die Hard movie. Not to mention I'm getting a PG-13 vibe from the trailer...I'll be completely convinced this will suck if that happens.

- Multiple obviously CG car crashes.

- Inappropriate use of VTOL.

- Bruce Willis fights cybercrime? Really?

I love the Die Hard series. Its SUPPOSED to be cheesy over the top action. Cmon, its DIE HARD! I am ALL over this. Trailer was awesome imo.
