GRAW2 PC Beta Via Fileplanet.

Ya, I know fileplanet blows, I just got this email a little bit ago, asking If I wanted in.

So to make a quick post, if any of you guys are a paying member of fileplanet, go get your key!

I didn't care for graw1 or 2 on the 360, I'm going to try this though, and see how my comp can handle it.

This beta is killing my computer, I'm only getting 50fps.

fileplanet doesnt blow...i get so many betas from them not too mention smokin d/l speeds. Only thing other than TG that i pay for. Downloading it now...

I get the same speeds from them as anyone just about. about 580kb/s.

i get well over 1 mb/s. Very noticable from free fileplanet. Its very worth it in my case.

Anyways, played the beta for a bit. Shadows were messed up but overall it looks like the same engine as the first one but with a few nicer effects. I played on max at 1920 and nary a slowdown so at least performance wise its good to go. The Assaut Recon mode is definately kick ass and i think will be a perfect fit here.

I think I could get into it myself, I'm going to need to get at least 20 more fps average though before I dive in.

Recently got the beta and yeah the FPS is killing me just like with GRAW1 but it could be this old 6800GT

From what I remember of GRAW1, the pace of gameplay was such that 30fps was very playable. I'd presume that that's still the case here?

Is this an open beta??
