Change in PID

As a few of you know, I have been having some trouble in both joining and remaining on the Tactical Gamer Conquest server. When attempting to join, I would get the standard PunkBuster message as if I was not included on the Supporting Member list and be disconnected after a few hours of play. Since I have had my BF2142 PID filled out in my profile since this script’s inception, I thought the problem was related to PunkBuster and have been working with that program in an attempt to resolve my problem.

By chance, I was looking at my statistics this afternoon and noticed my PID had been changed by EA!

I am not sure how or why my PID was changed, since I have not made any changes to my EA account and it is the same soldier with its full history of statistics. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem or knows why a PID would be changed by EA?
