Meltdown at Digg?
Head on over to Digg and see what the fuss is about.
Long story short, users posted a hex code that is used in hacking HD-DVDs. Digg was warned that this was copyright info so they took it down. The user base went nuts and cried for "Free Speech". My opinion notwithstanding....its an interesting debacle. |

Re: Meltdown at Digg?
Yeah. I'm not sure what the deal is.
If you Google "09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0" you'll find numerous articles from major publications that have this key disclosed. I'll have to go see what the Digg updates are since last night.

Re: Meltdown at Digg?
all the hubub stemmed from some hacking into hd-dvd decryption schemes. The thread where this all started can be found here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=121866
it makes for an intersting read. Finding this key must have been such a rush for this arnezami guy.
