Good NS Game
I just wanted to thank Kestrel and Birdie for a great game on the TG Dallas server tonight. We may not have been able to take that "Grand Park" flag, but we were at least able to leech them of tickets.
Hope to catch up with you guys again sometime. For now... goodnight. |

Re: Good NS Game
I would like to thank the rest of the 9th for putting up with my SL capabilities (or lack there of) and doing a great job holding off Birdie and CO from taking said Grand Park flag... I believe Birdie lost his tags to one of my squad members too!!

Re: Good NS Game
That may have been my fault. I believe it was during a heavy fire fight on the hill behind "Grand Park". He went down, and I rushed in to revive. I didn't realize you guys were already half way up the hill. So, I revive, and *SPLAT*; I'm dead. I believe the next thing I saw was Birdie dying by way of knife. Sorry Birdie.

Re: Good NS Game
That was a fun round last night, your squad leading was great and thanks for letting me hang with you guys in the 9th last night for half of the round, I was on my toes on revive duty trying my best to keep you guys up. I got booted from the squad about half way through the round and i assumed it was to make room for another 9th member and that is totally cool, hope I helped while I could. Thanks again.

Re: Good NS Game
That sure was an interesting round. The small teams made it very difficult to gain a real foothold and our team seemed content to just slug it out around that particular Control Point. A few players in our squad suggested trying to break for another flag, but we were completely surrounded and having too much fun fending off wave after wave of armor and infantrymen.
I do not usually get excited about knife kills, but that was a very memorable experience. I watched DaddyOfThree run over a small embankment toward an enemy squad and figured someone would have to go revive him. A few seconds later, I heard him calmly say over VoIP, “Well, I got Birdie’s tags.” I burst out laughing, imagining a thick Texan accent grumbling on the other comm. I sure appreciated rage4order’s skill with the defibrillator, as well. It seemed that, no matter where we turned, the enemy had us in their sights. At one point, we must have revived each other a half dozen times just trying to flee from two Battlewalkers. |

Re: Good NS Game
Yeah, it was a pretty crazy round. I kept trying to push further and further out to see if we could make a break for a flag, but they were coming from pretty much all sides.

Re: Good NS Game
rage4order - You did a great job in the squad and are always welcome to join us in-game! Im sorry i booted you, but we had another 9th member show up on the server and I was making room...
What was so frustrating to me were the snipers! At one point there were about 5 of them up on the monorail. You couldnt even get a range with the rockets before you were down!

Re: Good NS Game
Those were some very enjoyable rounds.
You did an awesome job ZWood. As Pfeil pointed out the highlight of my night was grabbing Birdie's dog tags. He doesn't like to use the handle "Daddy" when talking with me over TeamSpeak but somehow I'm sure he was screaming "DADDY!!!" over his coms last night. It was a shame the server crashed...
