5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
Hahhahaha, this was great.
Chiefmedic came on and made a squad because he just wanted to goof around and have a good time instead of playing it hardcore. So somehow came up with the idea of a shotgun squad. This was on Fall of Berlin and was quite fun! We actually didn't do too badly, 2nd best squad overall on our team, and we really weren't trying too hard, and I'd never used the shotgun before. Its really fun!! Packs a hella punch! I left the squad when we switched over to PAC because the 9th invited me into a squad, and played for a bit with them and then promptly crashed/lagged out as we were making a push. They're actually still going right now I think. Sure Reaper or Chief will be on later to share their parts.

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
I was leading a squad on the other team for both rounds. Reaper was really getting on my nerves (in a good way) with his shotgun and his 'nades. Just ask Waffle and Zoopy.

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
Yeah, it was pretty annoying up there. Glad I was able to get some Ganz revenge occaisionally.
Funny thing is that your squad caused people on our side to start taking them, and I'd start getting them on revives. |

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
Hahahaha, it was so funny. I'm actually starting to think about playing support now and using that. I use to swear completely off support because I'm just not a fan of being the guy to throw bullets down range, but this, I'd be straight in the action. Quite a ridiculous time.

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
I've been experimenting with the Clark also recently. Since we really like to play infantry type maps here at TG, it absolutely owns at the ranges most of our engagements take place.
If an enemy squad is unaware you are carrying this, you can do some real damage before they know what hit them. With Assault Rifles, it's difficult to combat multiple opponents at once at close range. With the Clark, your chances of survival go up quite a bit. |

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
I wouldn't consider a shotgun squad "goofing off". That thing is nasty. Goofing off would be a knife or pistol squad. I would crap my pants if I came up against a full squad of shotguns

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
The only problem with the shotgun is you have 1 shot vs a decent opponent. If you don't kill them in 1 shot you just got vossed. It is a lot of fun though. I love when you come around a corner to find 3 enemines huddled up around a medpack: HELLOOOOOOOO!

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
The only downside we ran into was the lack of a medic to get us up if we took too many bullets, but we managed to make quite a push here and there.
The thing I'm gonna work on big time is sprinting in between shots. Just hold down sprint and shoot, line up where you think your crosshair will be and let go of sprint and boom!! I use this sometimes with pistols if it comes down to reaching for the sidearm.

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
Hahha, yeah. It would be a real nice thing, but all goes back to the server hosting company, who knows if its in our package or whatnot to have it included.

Re: 5/8 & 9 Shotgun squad
I've been using the Herzog in place of rockets, sacrilege some may say, on and off for a few weeks now and have had a great deal of success. I generally only equip it when I am squad leading and know that I have enough rocket wielding medics to cover the long range targets.
