Alright everyone, today at Fall of Berlin I brought out my new move. It's something I'd like to share with all of you. I've named it the "Squad leader EMP." Today’s test subject was Chiefmedicman.
Chief, as always, was leading a squad and, as always, I surveyed that squad for familiar names. When I saw him, I knew he was the SL and would be the target. So I then gently placed a bullet between his eyes. It wasn't instant, but his SM's reacted, first one came to revive. Chief was alive again! But in that faction of a second (since I knew his orientation already and where his head would be) I landed a second bullet next to the first. Chief needed a medic. His medics had run away thinking “job well done,” it took a few seconds but another medic made the run back. Again he was revived....and again he was quickly dispatched with a single shot from my rifle. More seconds pass, as the Chief waits for the confused medics to return. They probably doubt his competence in combat at this point. So, for the last time, his squaddies made the attempt to revive him. By now their stunted movement had put them in a bad place. My team was bearing down on their position. One last time a SM managed to bring Chief back from the dead. Luckily, I wasn't using the Zeller, and sent another bullet from my larger clip soaring into the Chief. This was the end of our little game. His squad was killed before they could get another chance. I paused….then reloaded out of respect for the Chief, sacrificing one un-shot bullet to DICE heaven, where the Chief would be for another 15 seconds, hoping that it may find him there. Special thanks to Silver. This technique was originally conceived in a match against him.

Re: My new move!!!
Poor, Chief. I joined his squad in a match at Fall of Berlin. This was my first game for the night and all he says to me after saying hi is, "you ready to face the 3rd and the 7th?"
I even heard your name a few times tonight and it went, "damnit, that guardianx11!" Good times. |

Re: My new move!!!
Hahaha, those were good rounds. Back when I only sniped, I loved doing this!! It was sooooo hilarious to setup far away and ping some poor guy and have their medic run out and help 'em. The best is if they miss the revive and you get them. Then its a great long chain of hilarity!!

Re: My new move!!!
That's right. You have to shoot him while he's trying to hide in a corner!

Re: My new move!!!
Yes, as a medic I've learned to heed carefully the word "sniper." Even if I go for the revive, I only make one attempt and if the SL dies again, I check with them to see if they really want me to try again, and usually they're smart enough to say no.
But yeah, if I was a better sniper, I'd do that just for laughs. |

I've probably killed more reviving medics than most could claim, but despite ALL my efforts (against a good squad and by myself) I can't keep a single one of them down. In fact, I often opt. not to shoot the SL first and gun for his Otis instead! It stays dead longer and puts all them at a disadvantage. Final Note: There has only been one time in my entire recon career where I was 100% sure I would kill the reviving medic. Well, at least the first one. It was on Cerbere. I killed Bommando by the boxes SE of the South Town flag, it was close range. I was packing the Lambert. At this point I made the smartest decision I've ever made in a BF2142 situation. I put an APM on the critically wounded Bommando. There ladies, is your sure fire revive medic kill.
