Smile Tunis Harbor - 5/16

Had one hell of a battle last night on both rounds of Tunis Harbor. The first round we encountered a squad deploying from a buggy between Junkyard and Power Station. As they layed thier beacon we attempted to clean them up.........Seemed like they where deploying faster than we could kill them, then they put a beacon on the roof of the buidling due west of PS and we went in for the kill. When it was all said and done, we killed them and the beacon, much to our suprise........we did not encounter any team kills! Two full squads engaged in close quarter fighting firing our guns as fast as they would fire! I remember the comment "WOW! No teamkills? How did we do that?" Followed by two squadmates jumping off the roof and dying....LOL.

Same sqaud of people(sorry i did not get the names.....couldn't find my pen) on the next round we took Eastern Docks and proceeded accross the boat in anticipation of the enemy advance towards ED. Another fine battle, and as I was crossing the boat I fell into the water..lol and we pushed on. Coming up between the Junkyard and the enemy main, the fight was on for the Junkyard! I know we must have taken it and lost it and taken it a few times. I remember trying to revive someone and I hit the wrong button......shooting them again.....I apologized. they where some of the best battles that I ahve been in on that map and the People in my squad deserve a big slap on the back(or a beer). So sound off if you where there and be proud of two great fights!
I will keep a pen next to the Computer for future reference(they said that stuff would cause short-term memory loss......but I had fogoten that!)

Yeah... I was there. My SL was |TG| GlobalWarming, I believe it was he who made the "no TK's" quote. That was a pretty wild set of rounds.
To my SL, sorry I didn't call out that the enemy was in that container adjacent to our position on approach to the PS. Probably would have made things a lot easier on us with a few FRAGs thrown in.

Yup. I had the pleasure of being in the squad. The rooftop at powerstation was insane. People podding in left and right one after another. It was truly amazing that we didn't wipe ourselves out (until we jumped off the roof). Fun times, no doubt.

Great squad leading and a real good group of shooters (or an OK shooter in my case, LOL).

Kestrel

PS: Not too shabby for a bunch of old guys.

I was in this squad and was one of the ones who died jumping off the roof!! I wonder how many tickets they lost from those fights? I remember looking at the score before we jumped off the roof and it was 272/245. Tunis (my leats favorite map) was a lot of fun that night and was well lead and played by everyone in our squad.

Cerebre Landing after Tunis was a very intense fight, too. I don't know how but I managed to be in the right place at the right time racking up 40 kills. My grenades and rockets just seemed to find multiple targets each time.

You guys all did a great job! Calling out positions and spotting enemies. I know the defibs where getting hot. It is a good thing that you can't revive the enemy, just plug away at the corpses and revive, revive, revive! Sorry I had to leave before Cerebre Landing, that would have been fun too!

I was the other guy killed jumping off the roof. All that intense action, we're all OK, then BOOM! Very good round(s) guys.
