Having trouble joining the server

Hey everyone, love the server been playing on it since I found it the first day I got BF2142 and loving the squad requirement.

Tonight though I've been having some problems connecting. First I connected fine played through a whole round then BF crashed, so I reconnected. That's where the problem started; my rank looked like it was set back to private and none of my unlocks were available. I've heard about this happening so I disconnected from the server, logged out/relogged my soldier and then reconnected to the TacticalGamer server.

Seconds after loading and clicking join game I get disconnected and get the message along the lines of: "You have been kicked from the server either due to excessive teamkilling or a succesful kick vote."

Now I know team killing is definitely not the cause as I don't think I've ever even been punished once for an accidental kill on any server and I can't understand a kickvote nor did I see one since I relogged immediately after noticing my unlocks weren't showing up.

Basically I'm just trying to make sure everythings okay as I only play on a few servers and this is by far my most favored.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

4: Why was I kicked or banned?

There are a few innocuous reasons you may have been kicked / banned:

1. To make room for a Supporting Member. Supporting Members are entitled to reserved slots on all of our servers and we kick the longest playing Non-Supporting Member to make room for them.
2. You forgot to join a squad. Playing as a team is mandatory on TG servers. We don't allow lone wolves.
3. There is a bug when switching teams at the end of the round where you are still in the same squad as last round, but unable to leave it. Unfortunately, the game registers you as being squadless, so you can get picked up by the squadless kick. The only way to correct this is to disconnect from the server and rejoin. Sorry, we don't have any control over this.
4. Immediately upon loading into the server. This is also part of the SM Reserved Slot script. See below for how it works.
5. 4 people punished you for teamkills in a round. The ban only lasts one round and is automatic. Please jump on TeamSpeak to let us know. Also, punishing accidental teamkills can get the punishing player kicked, so please report any player who punishes accidental teamkills.

When you are kicked for a supporting member, it does not state that it was for a supporting member, it is the generic kick message.

Thanks for your reply sc1ence ! I just wanted to make sure because I usually receive a more ambiguous message when slots are full on a server. Plus I seem to be able to connect up to when I click join game then I get the previously mentioned message.

I appreciate the clarification, I was just concerned as I couldn't rejoin the server when it had 45 and 47 players on and it stated it's full at 46 and 48.

when you connect, it may say 45 out of 47, but chances are, someone else tried to connect a second before you did. If you are getting kicked just after joining, and the server is close to full, it is a safe bet it is because of the custom script we run to save room for supporting members. If the problem persists, contact an admin.
