Adding text to sigs, a trick.

Recently there was a question asked in the 3rd forum about if it is possible to add text to the side of your sig image instead of underneath using BBCode. I was curious as to if this was possible, and it would save alot of space vertically for those that have additional text/links in their sigs to place them to the side instead of underneath. So, I went digging, and found the answer.

The [imgl] and [imgr] tags. They allow you to place test in line with your sig pic. Also, if you have uploaded a sig pic to the TG forums and don't have a URL for the pic you can use [sigpic]My Sig[/sigpic] tags to automagically place you sig without having a direct link to an image. You can add [center] tags to parts of the text to change up the spacing. If they are omitted your pic and text will bunch to the right or left depending on which tag you choose. Using the [center] tag will space them out more evenly.

But don't dear children be alarmed.

Although of course we must admit
He will be altered quite a bit
For who could hate or bear a grudge
Against a lovely piece of fudge?

This is the code used for the example above:

Or you could use [imgr] to place the image on the right of the text:

He will be altered quite a bit
For who could hate or bear a grudge

And yes, I understand this is outside the scope of the TG sig rules, but a lot of people do this, and I thought it would be a helpful tip to save some space for those that choose to do so.

Nice. I still like my nice centered sig with enough stuff that people get confused.
