PW Night June 24th
I got in for Mao Valley, in Troublesome's squad. Great game, its all kinda a blur because it went by so smooth. USMC won 21-0...Cant really recall who was in my squad for that. We spent most of our time defending the Village. I finally, finally, got to do some real sniping. I posed myself up on the hillside to the west of Village and turned a whole squad away from the valley heading to village. Troublesome unfortunatly had to do alot of admin work, but our squad still did excellent. Great game, good fight, and some intense chopper battles overhead.
Then came...qwai. For some reason it was down to 15 v 15 or thereabouts. I created Charlie, as nobody else wanted to make a squad and lead it. We got tactical, right away... Spawned at Processing plant and took the boat over to flank fishing village. That was the plan, at least, until a tank seemed to have noticed us. We quietly crept all the way to fishing village, avoiding at t-72's glaring eyes... Ha, Pvt. Green was the unlucky one to go scout out the tank's position, to see if we could cross the road "Who has the most useless kit...hmm...PVT GREEN, go see what that tank is doing." *everybody luls* "Get going private." (Thank goodness he didnt die )The squad was the best I've ever had the chance to lead. When we got to Fishing Village, they still maintained thier discipline and opened fire when I gave them the word to. Fishing slowly went up, meanwhile, NONE of the team seemed to have gone for Gov. Office. We defended Fishing for probably 10 minutes, hoping for our team to get on its feet. Unfortunatly, we were forced to retreat and start an assult on Gov. Office to try and balence the game out. The assult was interesting...one of the squadmates suggested I could line up along a south wall to the office, acting as a spawn and flag downer, while half of the squad assulted. Thier teamplay was dead on, and I was certainly impressed with the medics. We had government office, but then came the RP hunt to the NW of it. Bloody, bloody business, but we eventually were again, forced out. The typical field business ensued, forcing America to desperatly try to get into Gov. Office. Nobody seemed to be at Processing...I was hoping in the off chance that NONE of the Chinese would notice it, we could take Gov. back and secure it long enough... Annnnnd then came the "Oh shhhh-"'s. Processing was owned. IN A STROKE OF PURE LUCK, We could still spawn on its RP. We cleared it all out, and got a good perimeter, but it eventually failed. I had no idea, whatsoever what the rest of the team was doing. Oh right, all 4 of the team. There was our squad, of 6, and then 1 4 person squad left. And so, surrounded by at least 1 squad and a tank, I ordered my squad to defend the RP's room. We had no RP, so it all relied on me staying alive with a little M4. That room is a deathly trap. DEADLY to anything. There's only one way in, and nades arent really effective. We must have sat there, in that room, defending for about 20 minutes. I finally died. I had to spawn all the way back at pig farm. But it wasnt over yet, oh no! The new objective was to GET IN THAT ROOM AGAIN. I took a jeep and we all respawned aroudn the back of facility. The game was over, but for another 20 minutes we tried to take back facility. The teams were terribly uneven, 10 v 17 pretty much from the start of our defense at processing. It ended, with a wimper. All of it. I died, and Pig Farm fell. I congratulated my squad for thier great job, and terrific effort. It was probably the most fun I've had so far with PR. The last ditch defense, especially. My score was terrible...The Squad mates...Amazing. You all did a terrific job, and for those of you who stuck with me throughout the whole round, and even stuck to that last defense...You guys really made the PW night worth playing. Thanks goes out to... Oberst Hummell Foxtrot6echo Evilcupc@ke Sharp Shoota TG banana Wareagle Our late game CO RazersEdge Some screens from the bitter end... ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: PW Night June 24th
It's great to see Skud's write-up, especially on Qwai. But I'll come back to that...
STEEL THUNDER, China I started a "Fiendish" squad, populated by |TG-Irr|p.vicious, |TG|rhaebuster, colmmlynchplayer, (1VB)Schmidty, <<R2>> SgtDeth420, and later |TG-6th|Wimpinator. I instructed the guys to to buddy up, and move out with 3 tanks directly to Bridge Checkpoint. I wanted to attempt to pin the USMC on the west side of the river from the get-go, and left it to the other squads to cap the rear flags. We had some good back/forth action there and the squad did a darn good job. We pretty much owned that flag the whole round, although the US got pretty close to knocking us off a couple times. The UGLINESS of this round was once USMC Assault Camp came into play for China...after Village fell. So the situation goes...Village falls, US has one last flag and it is in play, Village gets re-capped by the US, and there are still Chinese forces at Assault Camp, which is no a UCB. Then the chat arguments flare up...including accusations about TG not caring about rules etc. None of this is helpful. It may be simpler on that map to just mark Assault Camp as a permanent UCB. {some very ugly rounds inbetween} MAO VALLEY, USMC I joined up with Devils squad which was lead by |TG-6th|Ferris, and also included |TG-6th|Blonov, |TG-6th|Belhade, Dingo-9TN, and percdude_go. This round was a blast! We had a great time defending at Shrine as the Chinese made some great attempts on it...a few times we were down to 1 man left, and really had to fight for it. Truly felt epic! Much fun! QWAI RIVER, China Now to TheSkudDestroyer's AAR above. This round started out as 17 vs 17, then ended up being pretty uneven for some reason... I didn't notice until very late in the game, otherwise we would have tried to sort that out.The way the 6th approached Qwai tonight was to create a couple Devils squads lead by |TG-6th|Ferris and |TG-6th|Belhade and to have me drop into the Commanders chair. We did actually start with a third Devils squad as well lead by |TG-6th|Blonov, but we abandoned that once we saw the server population wasn't going to grow. We were also tied in together by TS, but mostly we just used regular in-game voip to coordinate. The opening plan was to get a most of our team at Govt. Office with 1 squad sticking back to pick up Fishing Village. It was some pretty good fighting, and the team was working well together. Eventually I asked Belhade to send 2 guys down to stealth into Processing and see if we could change things up. He sent Blonov and ?? down there and as Skud says "Annnnnd then came the "Oh shhhh-"'s. Processing was owned". The major fighting then centered on Processing, and the USMC were dug in there like a tick settling into a deer for the winter! I had a very patient and discplined squad 1 defending up at Govt. Office at this time...seeing no action for several minutes. That's about when I was clued into the uneven teams. Rightly or wrongly, I decided just to push the game through and abandoned Govt. and Fishing to go cap out Processing and Pig Farm. Major kudos to USMC for this round...they totally held there own considering they were outnumbered that way! All in all I had a devilshly good time tonight ![]() Cheers,

Re: PW Night June 24th
That round of Quai really was epic. As leader of squad 3 (Devils2) we were initially tasked with capturing and holding Fishing Village. That we did with many fearsome battles. We had a tank overlooking the bridge and backing us up on the flag. Communication was flawless, spotting several chopper insertions and fending most of them off with periodic backup calls. Halfway through the round was when we sent off Blonov and Rocket15(?) to set up Processing - that was a stroke of sheer brilliance. Our tank lasted most of the round (help me, I wish I could remember that man's name, he was a rock) and the other four of us moved on a moment's notice to Processing. That was another epic encounter; even with the tank aimed directly into the flag hangar we just couldn't fight our way in. Skud, I got to give you huge props for managing to hold us off; I find it hard to believe that a single squad managed to do so for such a time!
This was definitely one of the more fun and exciting rounds I've played, due to the incredible amounts of teamwork within the squad and co-ordination with the CO. Having my brother Devils around me is what makes playing at TG the experience it is.

Re: PW Night June 24th
I gotta agree with my evil brethren, that round was awesome.
My AAR would look something like this: At the onset, my squad was tasked with the capture and defense of GO, which we took immediately and with 0 resistance. I deployed my squad all around the complex to watch entrances and we did an excellent job of fending off the marines for close to 20 minutes. At that point, fishing village had been capped, lost and returned to our favor and the USMC guys decided on a full on assault on GO. We wound up losing the flag due to sheer numbers (I had 5 guys vs at least 10 at that point), but my squad remained vigilant and fought like madmen. We wound up getting it back after about ten minutes due to some very quick moving on my part and a completely on-point squad. During the time that GO was under marine control, they set out on the RP hunt that skud mentioned and about ten seconds before they walked over our RP, I spawned in, grabbed my officer kit, ran out the back and moved the rally. As they closed in on that one, I quickly redeployed to the north, which was the key to our ultimate ownage of GO. As the marines searched north and west for our elusive RP, I moved my boys in on the flag and we got it turned at a cheetah's pace. Right after that, we were reinforced by another squad, which turned the place into a fortress. After about 5 minutes, Goat (who was CO) retasked the squad on fishing village to processing and ordered my squad to cover the defense on fishing. Right as we began to move across the river, Goat informed me that we had hostile infantry on the flag. I scoped in and called arty right on the flag, which took out all of the USMC troops there and we moved in. I had my guys deployed about 75 meters out from the flag in a semicircle from the river. We got one more full-on assault which involved a full marine squad and a humvee. I ordered my guys to hold ground at about 50m and called in more artillery, which once again was point on and wiped the marines out. Right at this point, we capped processing and Goat had the two squads there hold the flag and ordered us on a trek to pigfarm. We ran overland the whole way and right as we got to the ridge over pigfarm, there was a littlebird spinning up and Goat informed me that there was one infantry on the ground. My AT squadmate was begging me to blow up the LB as it sat on the pad, but I made him hold fire. About 5 seconds later, Goat comes over the squawk and tells me that the lone gunman had boarded the LB and it flew off toward processing. My squad then made a mad dash down the hill to the completely deserted pigfarm flag and turned it in less than a minute with absolutely no opposition. After a huge round of thanks and congratulations to my squad, we walked away victorious. I do have to give huge props to the USMC team though. They were outnumbered by 4+ players for at least the last 15 minutes of the game and they still fought us for every inch. Had it not been for Goat's superhuman commanding skills and a bunch of guys on our side that were so amazingly with the program, we probably would have folded. That was without a doubt the most fun I've ever had on PR.
