OFFICIAL ROLL-OUT: TG Armed Assault Squad Logo

Well, after much delay and procrastination on my part....I present the official TG squad.xml setup and sign-up list.

For those who don't know what this is, it allows you to add a squad logo to your in-game "persona" (right sleeve and vehicle) that distinguishes you from all the other no-name turds out there in the ArmA world.

For many of you, we've been in "test" mode for quite some time...and using my own webspace to host the squad.xml files. Well, NO LONGER! Apophis has been kind enough to give the TG ArmA community its very own webspace for just this purpose. So listen up...and sign up!

The way we've organized it follows:
1) Three groups: Regular Members, Supporting Members, Admin Team
2) You'll have four logo choices per group: Air, Armor, Infantry, and Medic
3) Copy the following code and reply to this post with the relevant information filled in

4) Supporting members: please be sure to highlight your SM status so we don't screw that up.

5) Once you've been entered into the .xml list, visit the relevant links, verify your name is there, then copy the link of your choice (provided below) into the SQUAD URL block under your in-game user profile settings. Note: until my head explodes from all the extra work, you can use any one of the four logos. You can even change your logo in-game by replacing the last part to Air.xml, Helo.xml, Armor.xml, Infantry.xml, or Medic.xml. Note the capitilization!!!

6) Buccaneer and myself will be managing the lists, so if you have any trouble, PM one of us to get it resolved. I'd like to keep this forum topic clean, if you will, so I can keep track of who's signing up for the squad logo. No extraneous chatter (i.e. posts) in this thread please.

7) We're still in the business of making the coolest, off-the-chart logo...so if you'd like to submit a new logo, please do so! Post it in the logo submission thread please! I'd really like to see some talent come up with other great ideas.

Get with Disposable and he will gather the required info for your IHS. Most of you need to get me your player ID, or else this will not work.

Real quick guys...

If we created you a spot on ANY squad page, you have to use the name that you submitted. If the names are not exact, the whole thing will not work properly.

My player id name: The Big C
My Squad XML affiliation: [TG-Admin]
In game shows: The Big C [TG-Admin]

Now, let me put a twist on it....
If my player name used was: TG-Admin The Big C
It would show in game as: TG-Admin The Big C [TG-Admin]
Plus the logo would not work as well as some of the other information contained on the page.

Long story short, use the name you gave us or your ingame XML will be all jacked up.
