Overhead views of maps

Does anyone want to get a few screenshots to post up for overviews on maps? This would help new players to get acquainted with the current maps.

all of the overviews for the maps that you see when the server loads are under insurgency/materials/maps/overviews.

you can use the VTF plugin to extract those into Pshop. If you don't have Pshop check here

I also find it interesting that all these maps are based on the actual locations. The map of Haditha struck a recollection of an overhead view that recounted the alleged massacre of civilians perpetuated by Marines that occurred there back in 2004 or 2005.

awesome job. Sad thing is ive only played about 3 of these maps, over and over..

Out of all of them, I've hit up Almaden the most. Shotguns are devastating on that map.

Seriously, let's see some of these OTHER maps in rotation. I know a lot of it is the server crashing at map change, but this makes me drool for something else. I'm working on understanding IMC I'll get back to you on that.

There's more than three maps?!

It's the frequent server crashes. Almaden's the first in line, so when the seemingly-inevitable crash occurs, it resets at Almaden.

Hence the 150+ servers running Almaden anytime you look for a game.

Uh it's not about rotation, the server crashes on a map change....

What is ins_hillah (the orange one), I don't have that one? Must be a soon to come map.

I personally like Karkar. Mainly because I love sniping, and that mineshaft and in obj. Echo. Dear god.. It's a beautiful thing.
