Insert Disc Error

I get the "insert disc error" a lot, i was just wondering if it happens to you guys too ?

Some times it takes like 20-30 mins just for BF to work, its really annoying. How do i tackle this problem ?

My wife tells me I have an 'insertion error' quite a bit.

Anyways, it sounds like you have something wrong with the drive. Do you have any apps that use Safedisk? Google search on that for detection tools; apparently it can cause gradual drive errors.

Some things to check:
Drivers for your drives, condition of the game (if theres scratches on the very outer rings or the inner rings it can cause errors), and installation problems.

I looked on the official EA BF 2142 forums and lots of people are having the same problem, its not the CD (perfect condition) or Drive ( every other game runs fine) seems like a glitch or bug in the cd, game. Hopefully the new patch will fix this annoying bug
