Mic Static Issue

So for the past week or so I'm seemingly randomly having a VOIP problem. When I try to talk to someone in the squad, I get the "broken mix" icon and they hear only static. However, anyone I talk to on Teamspeak hears me fine. I can usually fix it by quitting out of BF2142 and relauching, but not always. For some reason I think it has to do with Teamspeak. Don't ask me why, because I don't have a real reason, except that it didn't happen before I started using Teamspeak.

So any ideas?

Re: Mic Static Issue

What's your sound card? What kind of input do you use in TS direct sound or wave? Goofing around with these may solve it.

I had the eaxct same problem and it was TeamSpeak. My solution is to use the WAVE driver for sound on the Option page in TeamSpeak. Haven't had a problem since.

Re: Mic Static Issue

Not sure about the sound card. When I get in to the office I'll look, but first I'll check the TS input and fiddle its faddle a bit and see if that works. Thanks....
