Ah, what a beautiful and glorious air rodent.

What was your easy way? Throw some fries on the ground, take a wide shot of the sky, then crop it?

very close! We were on a ferry. They like to fly right above the ferry waiting for food scraps. I actually had a wide angle lens on my camera, set at 24mm. That is basically no zoom at all, I was right below him in this shot.

I often wondered how people got good seagull shots...that is definitely an easy way to do it!

Re: Seagull closeup

Hmmm I figured you were standing on a pile of garbage at the dump, but then I realized there was only one bird in the photo.

The air rodent is most commonly found among trash other than pooping on you on the beach .. You know I see them in my parking lot year round, even in winter, its snowing out, and theres always seagulls around to 'recycle' some of your trash
