PoE:2 News 106 with 2 Videos :)

Welcome to our 106th Newspost.

For those of you keeping track, only five more days until the POE 1.7 release. Please join us this week as we roll out our second 'Major' release for BF2.
Release party, Friday July 20th, 12 noon EST (5pm GMT).

Developer chat and server release on Wednesday, July 18th at 8pm EST (1am GMT, Thursday).
Developers will be on hand in our IRC channel to answer questions about the mod, We have even heard there may be some prizes.

Daarken and our Test Team have been putting the latest build through its paces the last week or so, but have taken some time out to create a little preview movie for one of our upcoming maps, Assault on Odessa. SgtWedge has created an urban meatgrinder that will challenge even the most skilled players.

Ga-Knomboe Boy has put together a rather frantic movie of our upcoming map, BlueNile. BlueNile is one of three maps offering singleplayer and coop action for this release. ColdFussion and dorayacoop did the coop work for our mod.

Dnarmo was instrumental in creating the singleplayer component for our Battlefield Vietnam mod releases. He has recently compiled all of the different singleplayer parts into one integrated whole. Not to worry everyone. Lucky's arm will be in a cast and sling while he heals from his injuries. His back has also been bandaged and wrapped in fresh cotton and linens.

That was quite the beating you took there, Lucky. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one man reach so far around his own shoulder in all my life. That was an impressive stunt to be sure.
