ArmA was supposed to be my "until GRAW2 comes out" game

Well. it was. I loved coop GRAW1 PC sooooo much and I thought If I bought ArmA, it would hold me over for a couple of months until GRAW2 PC came out. It came out today. I have it in my hot little hands right now. What to do?

Things that are certain.

1-->> I can only really play one or 2 games at a time.

2-->> ArmA may remain interesting for years.

3.-->> GRAW2 looks and feels delicious so far.

Oh what to do? What to do?

I'd stick with ArmA But I never liked GRAW. I didnt like the super zoomed in FOV, and the super dragon skin body armor that let you take 10 shots before starting to limp.

ArmA > GRAW

Play GRAW2, then when it's stale, jump back to ArmA. I played OFP for five years.. unless something really significant changes in the near future, I expect to see the same from ArmA. Other games can be fun on the side, but I always come back to ArmA/OFP for my deeper gaming.

I think you got it exactly right Dslyecxi.

I have been playing Falcon 4.0 for years (about 10 now) becuase it is so rich in depth and detail. Kinda like ArmA. Through those years, I have had many other great games that were lots of fun, but wore thin eventually.

You always go back to the deep ones. ArmA is a deep one. GRAW1 lasted about 6 months, but it was a hoot. I expect GRAW2 to be as good or better than GRAW1. especailly when the modders get their teeth sunk into it.
