Creating my own video
Well recently I've been watching a lot of videos made by users on youtube and what-not. Videos of game matches cut with music, or tv shows used as music videos(Example)... and this is something I'd really like to try. But the problem here is I lack any experience and knowledge on how to do this, and I also lack to knowledge of what programs are best for someone at my level of skill (or lack there of!).
I guess my questions are simple; What programs are new-user friendly that can achieve something like the example above? Are there any free ones? (A guy can hope!) What kind of tips can ya give me? Methods of organizing the material, using different options like fade/swipes for effect... etc I put this in hardware and software because that's my biggest problem at this point. What programs are best, where should I start (as in, what programs are newbie-friendly) and what are my options, price wise. But basically any information or tips you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
