ArmA Server Setup Help!

Hello everybody!

I have just purchased a server from Gaming Deluxe, and was wondering how to go about setting up Evolution v3.0. I have got as far as up loading the file through FTP to the MPMissions folder, but I cant seem to get it to work.

If you could give me some hints or a step by step guide I would very much appreciate it.

P.S. I did look through the forums for an answer but couldn't find one, so sorry if this has already been answered!

Not sure but .pbo seems to have problems when transferring .. either rename the extension or compress it and then extract on the machine.

Re: ArmA Server Setup Help!

I'm sorry I thought you were having trouble in the FTP process, but what you are saying is that you can't get the server to run?

You need to create a server.cfg file then it is simple to append the shortcut to run the server to say:

"C:\Program Files\GAMES\ArmA\arma_server.exe" -config=server.cfg

This will of course vary based on your install path and the name of the config file. In the config file you just put the commands you want. All are explained here:
