60 second lag spike-Vista

Ok I have Vista and I get a lag spike every 60 seconds. This makes gaming IMPOSSIBLE! I have tried many things to try and get this to work. Even though Microsoft should just get off their lazy arse and fix this problem.

If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me! I have a wireless connection. And yes I do know WHY its doing it. I just can't find a fix.

And VAL doesn't work for me.

Well, unfortunately Fish, VAL is the only current solution there is until linksys comes out with a system similar to the one they had for XP that took the place of the Wireless Zero Configurator, which cannot be turned off in vista like it could in xp. So unless you can find a way to get VAL to work, you're pretty much SOL.
