Just a small note of appreciation to squadmates Lucky, Gooder, Namebot, Krelden, and Northernco for some fine defense of the Quarry this round. (And thanks to DemonAlucard for making room in the squad; that's appreciated.)

We lost the round by a close score, but we maintained control of that flag throughout. There were times I felt like a fish in a barrel in that hole, though...

And it's really good to see lots of folk playing the mod again.

Wow! Khaerus can see a week into the future!

But, back on topic, the games thus far have been mixed for me gameplay wise. I find myself screaming "What does one have to do to get a medic!?!?!" alot recently. Maybe I just need to get me PoE legs back. And stand further away from Mantis.

I have found the medics to be a lot better than what I am used to actually. Normally when I play any other mod or version of BF2 I am lucky to get revived once a night. Since I am usually a medic this is VERY frustrating. But I have been getting revived two or even three times a game now! It is amazing!

Back to acorn, I played a round yesterday as squad leader at the farm before I left. The dark lighting I feel doesn't do all that much. It is just a bit annoying. You can still see the people moving around and it just looks drab. It may have been because I was defending at the farm where there is open ground. In the forest I suppose it is a different story.

And yes you really shouldn't post about the future, everyone is going to know where you are now!

That's true, but I'm counting on the likelihood that they'll get bored waiting around for me to show up.

It actually took me a while this morning to figure out what Pen was talking about with that future stuff... Sometimes I think I'm lucky I don't get hit by more buses.
