Ribbon System Testing - Split from Backlogged Campaign Ribbons

Well.. It seems to work!

My signature right now (at least the ribbon portion) is generated entirely by the new automated system. There's no formatting controls over the way the ribbons are presented and they are fixed in rows of 5. Any extra ribbons that don't make up a full row are centered on the bottom row.

Anyone interested in some extended testing should send me a PM and I can convert your current ribbon display to the automated system. *DO NOT* remove the ribbons from your sig though. I'll want to use those for reference when I add your automated ones.

One problem I do see is that individuals with fewer than 5 ribbons will end up with their ribbons centered in the 400 pixel block allotted for the display area. That might look a little funky but it's temporary until the bbcode display functionality is completed.

So are your ribbons supposed to be 11 long? Or 2 rows of 5 and 1 row with 1? What I see is a row of 11.

It should be two rows of 5 and one row with 1.

What are you using for a browser?

I just want to say that this absolutely kicks ass. There have been a few time when I have seen a ribbon in someones signature and have been curious as to what it actually means.

With the new system you get a pop-up message that tells you the ribbin name when you hover the mouse over the ribbon. Great job to you sir.

I don't think the automated system is in effect yet, they are still testing.

The best feature by far is the ability to mouseover and get a description of each ribbon.
Beautiful work. Now all my ribbons will be displayed correctly!
