Reserved slots do not work for me.

1. I followed Vulcan's guide to obtaining the Steam ID.

2. I inputted it into the User CP (STEAM_0:1:XXXXXXX)

3. I was just kicked by a "supporting member". I AM a supporting member. This is driving me bat... doodoo.

Re: Reserved slots do not work for me.

Ages ago. I still consistently deal with the "server is full" window instead of immediately joining. I noticed the problem, checked to see if the Steam ID had changed, it had not. So I thought I had entered it incorrectly (turns out I hadn't).

No clue what the problem is.

Re: Reserved slots do not work for me.

I thought that was a simple frivolous shortcut so you didn't have to bother with the "find server" menu. I'll do the shortcut now. Thanks.

Oh no, Delta, it's much more than that. It's all the power of Tactical Gamer wrapped up into one tiny file.

Re: Reserved slots do not work for me.

The shortcut is the only way to connect when the server is full with your reserved slot or by typing connect IP in console while the game is launched.

Re: Reserved slots do not work for me.

If you use Blackbox, you can add this line to your menu.rc file:
Code:
[exec] (Professional Counter-Strike) {"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 240 +connect 70.87.55.29:27015}
