All squads need to pull their own weight.
Okay, this makes me madder than all get out:
![]() That difference in score... from 1st place squad to 2nd place squad... should never happen imho. Seriously. Edit: What really pisses me off, was that we lost by something like 10 or 20 tickets. happens all the time. The only thing you can really do is split your squad up into two, where you take in three okay players and the new squad also gets three okay players. Of course there may not be anyone who wants to SL the new squad. So that really is the biggest problem, guys just don't want to SL so they try to join the squad with the best players on at the time.

Its not just SLs fighting for points, but also the idea that if people stay in the same squad, they'll naturally work better together. After a round or two under the same SL, I get better at anticipating requests and orders, as well as my squadmates. We start (generally) becoming slightly more efficient through such actions. Besides, SLs also want to hang on to the good players because the good players follow orders and are willing to not be point-whoring lone-wolfers. That's not wanting points, that's wanting a better gaming experience.

I don't know why you're ticked off mate. The only reason I'd blow my kettle is for not getting into Bellacosity's squad
![]() There's good players and bad players. You can't force people to go under a mic-less, wit-less, experience-less SL. That's just rubbish for everyone. And most squads stay the same throughout several rounds. There's nothing like playing a round with a TG-xx squad and getting invited into it the next round -- the people are preserved, the atmosphere, the mics, the teamwork -- it's a lot of fun.

I see this more as a testament to Bellicosity's squad leading skills. I've been on his squad a few times and always had success. He's focused and vocal about what he's trying to accomplish. Without his squad, there would have been no close match and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Crux you make me smile, and I laughed out loud at work enough that I think the people in the office next to me heard. Is it wrong to TK asshats on the server for not doing jack **** on your team? I know its against the rules... but is it wrong?

Yeah I was actually just posting that in jest. Not really ragging on anyone else who was on the server. I mean you have Crux and Zoraster in the same squad. 3rd + 7th = a perfect 10! But, it was also by far the widest margin I've ever seen between squad scores before.
