Odessa 1.8 lag report
1.8 reduced the draw distance some and did some optimizations. You should find your FPS have improved a bit(about 5FPS on my end) and the memory usage has seen a solid drop.(less stuttering) With that in mind...how are things on your end? Is this map playable for you?

Re: Odessa 1.8 lag report
It's playable for me now, but going over to the US side of the map as I did last night, I was getting alot of chugging. It made flying the littlebird particularly hard, and using the rockets in the helos makes things slow to a screeching halt also.
I can see the improvements, I just think there is room for more, a pity because I love the setup of the map. I must say I am missing my un-gimped Sokol though, too many hind pilots out there now. |

Re: Odessa 1.8 lag report
Unfortunately, this map is barely playable for me. Then again, I didn't yet delete some of the unnecessary files on my computer (shader cache etc).
I'll try to clean and return with a report...but if others also have problems on this map...please report |

Re: Odessa 1.8 lag report
I chose, "FPS is a bit low compared to every other map but I find it completely playable," but I would amend the word "completely" with "reasonably" to better differentiate it from the second option. In the air, I still get the odd stutter passing over the heart of the city, especially when there's lots of smoke pops. It often doesn't leave much room for error; annoying but not necessarily as map-breaking as it was before. Things usually clear up after a couple of minutes and the odd faux pas here and there.

Voted:
FPS is a bit low compared to every other map but I find it completely playable this is with a low-to-mid level computer. I had to turn down my video settings when I started playing POE, but I havent had to do anything else because of this map or the latest patches |

Re: Odessa 1.8 lag report
i just played on it and have to say its much better for me. I still have to play on med settings or its lag (graphical) city. In 1.7 i played on med and studdered quite a bit in the city, but in 1.8 lag-free for me.
