Get the battle recorder files? I am just curious to view a few of them, especially the TGU one after the 18th.

They're under the Community->Battle Recorder tab in the main BF2142 menu

You can download them ingame by going to the community tab in the game menu and then click Battlerecorder. A list of files will appear, starting with old and ending with the newest files. You can download these and then watch them ingame or with BattleDirector. Info on this can be found here.
