Exclamation reinstalling game

i am trying to reinstall bf2142 (and bf2) i hvae all the discs, but i cant seem to find the cd-keys... i have accounts on both games and figured it would go by the account, and not the cd key.. is there any way to get around this? or am i going to have to rebuy the game if i want to play it again (or find the booklet with the cd key.... doubtful that i will)

Re: reinstalling game

Tonk, unfortunately, stickyjeans is mostly right. You have three real options:
-Find the book.
-Contact EA about purchasing a new CD key ($10 I believe if you can prove you own the game).
-Buy a whole new copy.

Aside from those options, you're pretty much out of luck. All the best man, look forward to seeing you on the servers.

Re: reinstalling game

did you do a complete uninstall of 2142, perhaps the key is still in the reg, you may be able to find it that way. BF2 encrypts their keys so thats a nogo either way.

Re: reinstalling game

Here's a link to a site where you can find your cd key in your registry. I'm not sure if this will still be there if you uninstalled the game already, but its worth a shot...
