Excellent PW night

Thanks to nex911 and to all SM's for making an excellent and coordinated squad.

It was good fun!

Re: Excellent PW night

I had a Great time tonight. Oh, how I love thee password nights

Probably the Best Gaming I have had in several months. Where to start...

Al Basrah:

As GB, I had my Squad Spawn in and at airport and we grabbed to Land Rovers. I asked for 2 medics, 2 Combat Engineers, and a Rifleman, and the amazing part was that they listened (always a good indicator of a good Squad). We quickly moved west to the village to destroy a spawn car and look for caches. We located and destroyed one cache within 2 min of the map starting and met light resistance at the village. We then convoyed to the west part of the city to respond to an intelligence report, and met HEAVY resistance. With half my squad knocked out we found an cache. With no engineer all we had were nades, so proceeded to nade the hell out of the cache. After about 15 or so nades it was gone.

During all this, we didn't have to worry about the Vehicle checkpoint getting overrun. We had a dedicated Squad doing that and were doing a damn fine job at it

Meanwhile, there were 2 or 3 squads roaming the city looking for caches. The SL's were doing a fine job of letting each other know that they have located and destroyed a cache. Well this went on for about an hour, and we had one more cache to go and we knew where it was. The problem was that the enemy was waiting ever so patiently. They had RPG crossfire from all angles. They were creating all kinds of havoc on our APC's, and whenever we thought we could escape the deadly bottleneck, there was a RPK raining lead down on us. That RPK were destroying us, we had no clue were he was at. All we knew that he was on a building somewhere. He must have taken out like 2 FULL squads. It was unbelievable, and whoever it was...my hats off to you

EJOD:

Another great round and squad!

As USMC I had my Squad delay spawn until an APC made it to gas station. After that was capped we proceeded into ruin where we met another friendly squad come down the alley from the North. That many people in one little spot was bad news, especially when you have to nade the entrance in order to get in the doorway. Well, I threw the nade and then watched in my amazement that I didn't TK anyone. For those of you who don't know, I TK at least 3 of my Teammates at least every map. Well after the ruin flag was capped, we pushed onto the East City flag, and when we got there, we encountered moderate resistance. With armor support to our East Flank they made quick work of the Enemy APC and some troops. Then our infantry cleaned up the mess After that, my squad along with another, moved to West City where there were a whole mess of troops. A heated firefight soon irrupted! It was a back and forth battle for about 45 min between that flag but then we came out victorious We made our defensive preparations and waited for the inevitable counter-attack. So we waited, and waited, and waited. Nothing.

"hmm" I thought

I know they are up to no good, but what is it?

Not one minute after thinking that, they made a MASSIVE assault on East City. They got it neutral and capped quicker than you can say...
"whatthehellhowdidtheydothatwhatthehellisourteamdo ingbunchofnoobs"

But we held our ground, we kept repelling wave after wave of "scouter's". But after our team got regrouped they made a counter-offensive to take that Flag back. We now have momentum on our side. As soon as they capped the East city flag, my Squad and I moved IMMEDIATELY to the Gardens flag. That was no picnic, met heavy infantry resistance and they didn't want to give that flag up quite yet. But we fought on, fought hard and in the end we got the flag turning in our favor. But those sneaky bastards got East city neutral, about the same time we got the Gardens capped.

DAMMIT!! There goes our momentous thrust!

We received orders from the CO that he wanted us to go back and cap east again. So we moved out...again. After that it was a tooth and knuckle fight between the two cities. We got east, they got west. We got west, they got east...so forth and so forth.

The ticket counts were neck and neck and we have just capped Gardens. At this time I decided to get "Extreme" we needed to get the next flag and fast. But what is a brotha to do?...to get EXTREME

As you can see in the vid that it didn't work. But we still were winning, even though it was we were winning with about a 5 ticket lead. But in the end we ended coming out on top 12-0.

Great games guys...I hope to see you out there more!!

Re: Excellent PW night

There is a small bias to MEC on EJOD as its easier for them to defend north desert or even win while holding those just those two flags.
Where as once usa loses ruins its basically game over.

Close game, well played
