Orel 09-13-2007 (Another late AAR)

The round started off with 5InDaHawus snagging a fast mover and flooring it for the Church CP. We weren't there for long before we were pushed off by Bane's squad accompanied by the Ukr. Dozer on overwatch.

Having been routed, we fell back to support the Backyard CP, which either had not been captured yet or had been taken to neutral. Fortunately, it was secured by German forces already staged there by the time we arrived and we were quick to set up defenses, a move later ratified by CO orders.

We defended the flag there for a fair chunk of time, repelling several assaults from both the church to the north and along our west and north west flanks. Once again, however, Bane and his men rolled in and pushed us all off the flag, turning it for a forward Ukr. position

Our CO, Mantis, instructed us to then move north to take and hold the Lumber Mill CP. After a failed attempt to take the flag in a direct assault and again later from their west flank, we executed an attack starting from the German UCB culminating in the capture of the Lumber Mill. The following video illustrates how this textbook maneuver was carried out:

5InDaHawus assaults Orel's Lumbermill flag vAAR.

We defended that flag for the remainder of the round, helping to secure bleed against the Ukraine team and, if I am not mistaken, the win for that round.

Good work and kudos to all who participated! It was a pleasure working with you all.
