help!!!!

hey guys new to the forums here but just wondering if anyone could help....K heres the story... PB has given me a global ban because they said my GUID was used in a hack...which i know i have never hacked on any game i have ever played online... so therefore i cant even play bf2 PR anymore....i have gotten a hold of the people at PB and they said i can play on non PB servers........and they will not send me any proof that i hacked just said i am banned!!!!!

so what can i do?.....will re installing windows change my GUID? or can i not play ever again?lol....this is pissing me off!!!

if anyone has any input that could help... thank you!!!!

I'm not sure you posted in the revelant forum.. anyway I think you should try the procedure to lift a ban at PunkBusted.com

This happened to me also. It meant 2 weeks of not being able to play at TG, but I went through the process mentioned by eol, and I got it worked out. While you wait, run Hijack this, Adaware, Spybot and whatever other good, free anti-malware software you can find to make sure you don't have a leak or backdoor somewhere--that's how it happened to me.

Yea thats the only thing i could think of...... i'll do the spyware thing now...thanx...... i think they stopped that PB ticket thing or whatever it is called where u file a complaint.... cause they wont answer me now.lol thanx guys

Note #2: The GUID you supplied was logged using a cheat that tried to prevent detection by PB. The method used is considered by us to interfere with the way PB is designed to work, therefore violating our EULA.

If you were not cheating, then someone was either using your computer or your CD key and was caught.

Either way, your GUID was used to try to hack on PB servers and it is now permanently banned. You may still play on non-PB servers as our bans only apply to servers with PunkBuster enabled.

swear on my testicles i never cheated ..lol.. if i was cheating i would have been a lot better.lol..

k if i re installed Windows would that issue a new GUID?..... then just buy a new copy of BF2 with a new cd key?....would that do anything?

.ps. i can play on ONE server on project reality...how weak is that!!!

A new copy of BF2 would provide you with a new CD key. I don't know if reinstalling Windows is needed.

Did you got hardware banned? Because if you did, it's gonna cost you more than $15 if you ever want to play on PB servers again..

nope not a hardware ban cd key / Guid ban....... so what is that just a software ban?..lol
