    Funniest Ambush ever.

I forgot the name of the mission. Bu it is the one where the BLUFOR have to escort three fuel trucks to the other side of the island.

I was on the OPFOR side side led by Homer Johnston. Surplus had a radical idea of setting the ambush forward from Corazol. He set up in obregan. Oddly enough that is the road they took. Surplus engaged and took out one truck before going down since he was by himself.

I was watching the Northern approach to Corazol, so as soon as I heard that they were coming through the South side I repositioned. I found a compound just South of Corazol. I got on top of the water tower to have a look. As soon as I put out my binocular two hummers came racing down. I could not move. I did not know what to do. I had my sight right on the gunners thinking I would take one of them out if they discover me. The distance is about 50 meters. All they had to do was look a little up and I would have been a toast.

After about me being hysterical telling my commander what is going on and asking what to do the rest of the convoy showed up. I took out the RPG and shot the fuel truck. No rounds are in the RPG. I loaded it. And Shot. Became unconscious because of the blast since I was so close. I laid there on the top of the watertower for good 30 seconds before they finished me off.

Well reading it might not be so much fun. But during that 3 minutes my heart was racing so fast, my palms were sweaty, it is not a video game anymore. I was so scared they might see me. After blowing up the truck I could not stop laughing.

Yeah, when we finally cleared the compound, I checked high, put a round in your body.

Saw the launcher after and deduced you knocked yourself out with the AT weapon. That was comical.

hahaha I was watching the convoy the whole time from a bush laughing after B took out the truck... you were all running around like pissed off little ants

well, we got 2 of the 3 fuel trucks... I was happy. Afterwards one humvee drove right on top of me and cut me down - he was lucky that I had rebound my freelook key and accidentally got stuck in freelook mode, else I would have been waiting with an RPG for him as soon as he crested the hill! instead i just watched him and said "oh crap."
