Operation Alvira 25/03/2009 - Jinef is unhappy with a Stryker
A funny incident that happened earlier today. Jinef the CO isn't satisfied with one of the Strykers
Overall the CO did an excellent job, and the mission went well until the Taliban decided to use the infamous lag cannon.

Yeah, this is the mission I JIP'd right before the server crapped out. I was peaking around a corner over the top of some other fireteam and the red link appeared. Seconds tick by...and about 15-20 seconds later, BLAM! Dead. Lying on the ground bleeding out, the fireteam next to me lost a man and was taking fire, and nobody around could save me...blech.

That was me in the gunner seat there... we got all excited about breaching a wall and charged in... and bounced off the wall. So then we looked at the map and backed off and went around the corner in front of the specops crowd. I saw at least one individual (I think he was hostile) and I was advising Ghost02 to get us out of there about the same time that Jinef was shouting about it. We backed out and got lucky... poor Ghost has a 7 inch screen to view the outside and we fortunately didn't squash anyone. Not our best showing that evening.
