Proven tests have shown that when you start playing with anymore than 15 players it can be less, the increase in CTD's is considerable....

It's not that it doesnt work, but in Multiplayer with large player numbers the rise in CTD's has bee recorded as noticeable....

Blackmain, we have run server tests on this, and once we hit the higher playernumbers like 30-35+ people started having random disconnects/CTDs left right and center when comms where beeing used to the extent we use comms.

Maybe the amount of usage of comms is somehow connected to the high playercount when it starts bugging out? Who knows...
Maybe there wasn't much going on VON on the game you played? Maybe people DID get randomly disconnected "as the game went on", but didn't bother reconnecting again to the "buggy server" and went to play elsewhere? i Don't know, i'm just saying...
I've heard, this might have something to do with the sort of server you are running, so some servers run fine, others don't...
Point is, nobody knows why it does what it does... we just know what it does on our server, and with the way it is, it's unacceptable to run it with VON on with our playernumbers and the amount of non jip coop.

I was wondering the same thing, and I didnt see that many disconnects so i would say average of about 50

At mision start we had only 1 spare slot....

So for the vast majority of the mission we had 56 players with a few disconnections on average I would say no less that 45 players!

The numbers are from the warfare server not from the TG server. But as sturgis mentioned people could of been crashing and there is no real way for me to know since it only seems to me that they disconnected.

EDIT: Ghost brings up a good point about how off topic these posts are. I apologize for bringing it up.

I'm lousy when it comes to missionnames so i can't say what we were playing when i was in a vontest, but iirc the only time i've played grefyfox down was with TS, so i'm inclined to say no.

Just wondering if anyone from TG has a subscription to PC Gamer? If so, how did the article turn out? I'd imagine the article will bring in a few new recruits, and maybe the server will have a few more people on it throughout the day.

Ya, according to the PC Gamer website the november issue went on sale September 15, so december issues should be ~ Oct 15. Subscribers receive theirs early and I thought I remembered it being out today. Guess we'll have to find out from someone who's got a subscription, let us know!
