Katanama, let me tell you that you did an awesome job as a SL. Sadly, Hotmachina had comm issues which relayed to every FT members.

I must point out that it was my first mission. I am not too familiar with Army grouping and such which led me to be in bad position quite too often. I hope I wasn't too much of a burden.

I am looking for another event. This one was great and it can only be better.

Also props to Falcon for the mission. It was epic.

Sounds like a fun time. It also sounds like you had a lot of fog of war issues. : )

I was FTL 1 in Alpha squad. Katanama, your leading was great, orders were precise (except that line vs column thing maybe) and decisive, and I still had enough room to coordinate 3 competent soliders (Royalfork, Rod5rig, Jessup) as I saw fit. There was some confusion at times, but it wasn't that bad considering the state our radios were in. Maybe next time we should have TS channels for each squad as back up just in case. I think it would have helped a lot with the confusion and speed of operations.

I also have to say this was a very well done mission. The relatively low resistance we encountered at first and our short victory against the eny reinforcement/probe on the West road had put me in an overconfident state, just ripe for the main assault. I didn't see we were flanked and that a much more thorough retreat was in order before I got mowed down.

Funny story: Grunt went AFK and stayed in a barn. Sturgis and myself managed to fall back and wanted to see if Grunt was alive. When we got to the barn it was completely destroyed and Grunt was still alive inside underneath all the ruins.

Very enjoyable experience with awesome squad mates.

That's pretty funny...I came back about 15 minutes after going afk and mission over...wish I could've seen the destruction of the barn.

Platoon level column formation was pretty snazzy.
