Discussion: Armed Assault / ArmA - AAR's & Mission Discussion - British Squad Adept&Co MSO event Feb 07 - On the way to our COB, we came across a BRDM, which we (Adept and
On the way to our COB, we came across a BRDM, which we (Adept and me at the time) were able to elimiate easily with our Warrior. However, we did get hit and Adept required medical attention.
In the next town we camped up on foot and awaited medical supplies from HQ to be delivered. At that point we got engaged, which disabled Adept temporarly, and leaving me wounded, all 4 infantry attackers got eliminated though.
The chopper for resupply was shot down near base, removing our chances of medical aid in the near future. 2 additional infantry attackers got defeated.
Our position then got reinforced by LowSpeed, after he picked up a crashed pilot. Adept, the pilot and me then went back to base in a Jackal to be patched up, while LowSpeed held the line with the warrior and limited building material.
Returning to the COB with additional building materials and weapons, we started bunkering in. Adept and LowSpeed went back to base with a chopper who came in with additional buildings supplies and seg, an additional squad member.
During patrols, a forward base of the enemy was found 2km from our position, due to only 2 people (seg and me) currently stationed at the COB, we had to wait for backup.
A chinook then brought in plenty of building material, as well as Adept, LowSpeed and Sarge. The plan was to get the COB secured and defended by AI, before we move out and take on any hostiles.
Since a lot building materials were delivered, I'll show some screenshots of the COB fortress before the server was resetted. To summarise...
