Cannot Create memory surface--ACE 1.115?
Just started to get the follow error when attempt to play on TG public server:
"Cannot create memory surface 4444, 12x12 (size 384 b)
Error code 8876086c"
I had ACE and 115 working on another server so I'm not sure if it is only on TG. I will check now.

Re: Cannot Create memory surface--ACE 1.115?
Update:
After several disconnects from the TG public server with the above error message, I tried another server without any problems.
2 hours after that I went back to the TG server and everything was working fine...weird.

Try using typing left shift+-+flush (thats numpad -)
I get those errors alot when loading missions. I personally blame my old rig.
It could be some of the textures in ACE.

Re: Cannot Create memory surface--ACE 1.115?
I got the same problem earlier tonight with that error.
Just crashed my game as soon as the mission loaded.
My guess is that this is an ATI issue. There has got to be a workaround to this.
Anyone care to comment?

Re: Cannot Create memory surface--ACE 1.115?
Well I can confirm that I use ATi as well.
But as I said, I had this problem only on the TG server and only for a short period and then it magically went away.

Re: Cannot Create memory surface--ACE 1.115?
A (temp) solution might be to turn down the resolution.
Since, I turned it down I didn't encounter any of the said errors. Hope it stays that way.

Are you using a 4870? From what I've heard there seems to be some problems with those, try to upgrade the drivers from ATI and check the card temperature with Everest

Re: Cannot Create memory surface--ACE 1.115?
"Cannot create memory surface 4444, 12x12 (size 384 b)
Error code 8876086c"
This means one of the textures of the object has an abnormal texture resolution (12x12), when it should be 16x16x or 8x8x.
Might be worth a post at the ACE forums. And extracting all textures and stuff and looking for a 384 byte-sized paa or pac image file one should find it
.
Thus it's likely an addon in the ACE mod that is causing the problem as BIS doesn't have any abnormal resolutions:
"Cannot create system memory surface (Error code 8876086c)"
This is caused by third party content using textures with non 2^n (32,64,128,256,etc) dimensions. It may not effect all video cards.
I didn't encounter this bug yet though (4870 HD)
