Install on E drive hurt performance?

I was wondering if it made any difference if you installed the game on another hd other than C. I have C on a 150 raptor and E a 300g raptor.

Would performance be improved if I reloaded the game on my C drive?
At first I thought no but now I'm not sure...

Generally, no. If it's a huge game, or you don't have very much RAM, it's possible you'd get slower load times, as it would have to copy from drive E to the pagefile (essentially extra RAM but on the hard drive) on drive C.

If you're multitasking, running stuff from the C drive at the same time, it would actually speed up the game a bit, as the two drives work independently.

But either way, it probably won't be anything noticable. Especially if you've got 2GB+ of RAM.

Run the two drives in RAID0, that would speed things up wouldn't it? Don't ask me how to do it since I don't know, I just read a lot
