Multiplayer Issues
My specs are:
dual core, AMD 64 x2 6000+, OC to 3300mhz,
XFX 260 GTX black edition w/ 895vram, OC
2gigs of ddr2 800 memory,
win xp 64 bit,
22.4' ASUS lcd monitor that supports 1980x1080
I get good fps offline...depending on my setting they are 40-80fps. The problem is that the fps never change online they are all ways 18-25. I have played and messed with the setting hundreds of times.
Last night I was on TG server A for a night mission before arma 2 crashed (OC video card testing). My fps were 20-29.
I have seen 2 times, i connected to servers and the fps were running at 40-60fps. What is going on, anyone know???
What I guess has me the most confused is the 2-4 times better performance offline vs online?
thanks.

Re: Multiplayer Issues
Anyone else seeing this kind of performance drop online vs offline?
The strange thing is no matter the settings the fps stay the same online...not offline though, with the exceptions i mentioned above.

Mr. Shepherd...welcome to TG. Check out the Bohemia forums...they are a zoo but you might find a thread speaking to this.
Many ARMA players get similar FPS's while in MP, so you aren't alone.|TG-1st|Grunt
