ArmA 1.14 - Doesn't start
So I decided to install ArmA 1 on my system to play with the ACE mod again. I patched it all the way up to 1.14, but it doesn't want to start. It goes through the checkboxes fine, then it's just a black screen, with the windows 'loading' cursor on-screen, sometimes it'll change to the ArmA cursor too.
I'm running Windows 7 with an Intel Core2Duo E8500 and an ATi Radeon HD4870. My drivers are up to date. I can also run ArmA 2 perfectly which is what's really odd.
EDIT: 1.16 beta patch fixes this.

If I remember right you need the patch 1.16beta installed and running.
