But I think I'm actually ok. I mean, I get the loading screens for ACE, the new items have been added to the armory(like chemlights, blah blah), the ACE tutorials are in bootcamp, and under the expansions section of the main menu, all the mods are listed. I've got ArmA2 content, and the soundmod works.

I did the things in your guide, only I don't use any launcher anymore, I changed the launch options in steam to include my modified target line(-mod=@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_SM;@ACRE;@JayArmA2Lib;@T GMaps), I made sure to have the correct path for my symlink(I needed it to go to 'program files(x86)' rather than just 'program files', if that even makes a difference), and I think that's it. I have literally no issues, I think.

So yeah, I have no idea what's going on. Is it working, or am I being deceived?

What am I missing here?

by the looks of it you're fine.

I was udner the impression that the steam comnied ops options overwrote your modline, the annoying thing about all the variations is that I can't test them myself :/

Word. If you are still having any issues, I will be on TS almost all night. If I am not in the Admin or Bravo Server channels I will be down in my IHS channel. Just jump in and I will do what I can.
