Making it combined ops on steam?

When I first bought Arma 2 on steam, I bought combined ops. It downloaded Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA separately, but when I clicked on OA, it gave me the option to launch combined ops. I uninstalled and recently re-downloaded, but it doesnt give me the option to run as combined operations anymore. The reason combined operations is important to me is that I mess around with the mission editor a lot, and I like having all the units and factions and maps available, without having to switch games. If anybody could tell me how to fix this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey we generally use a launcher to start the game. There are a few ways to do so. I can post more whwn i get away from work.

First off,
Before you do anything you need to do this.
Directly after downloading in steam
1.run arma 2 once to main menu, quit
2. Run Arma 2 OA once to main menu, Quit.
3. There should now be an option in steam when you right click to run as combined operations. If there isn't, don't stress. We will get you setup with sixupdater.
4.run any DLC you have (BAF etc)

The reason we do this is the game needs to write registry keys in a certain order for it all to work correctly.

Solo, how's it going with Bolagnaise's suggestion? Also check out the video above. You can grab the Alpha preset this way and have a few nice additions for client side mods. ST Hud helps simulate your awareness of what is going on around you. ST Movement helps raise & lower your weapon as you would going through doorways.

Using the launcher should automatically launch in CO mode.
