Re: Low framefrate
I see, looks like 8800 has changed the control panel completely.
I cannot seem to find that there. Anyone have a 8800 with this setting?--

Re: Low framefrate
Panzer my roommate has an 8800 and he doesn't have the setting... he actually doesn't have many settings. Seems the drivers are incomplete.
But this tweak made the game 10x more playable for me. If there are people out there who haven't done it... I recommend you at least try it.

Re: Low framefrate
Hey guys...
I didn't use Coolbits...I used a program called NvTweak...I think it's now called NvTray..
http://nvtweak.laptopvideo2go.com/
that program gave me the render frames option.
good luck,

Re: Low framefrate
lo there with the new nvidia drivers, they want you to use the new interface, but the old interface can be reinitialised by
right clickin on ...
desktop
Left click on
properites
settings
advanced
geforce xxxxx (xxxx = whaterver your card is called)
"control panel user interface" to choose old/classic interface
then, if one has installed coolbits, the render ahead setting is there under additional 3d settings.
