Im intersested in buying ArmA but..
I wanted to know what kind of specs you guys have to run this game. I have a P4 3.0 H/T 1.5gb ram x300 256mb vid CL Audigy 2SE sound. I tried playing the demo but it was reall choppy. In fact several times it was like a slide show just trying to turn around and track an enemy behind me. upgrading right now is not an option so I wanted to know if the final game runs better than the demo and if anyone with similar specs can run it. thx

I don't know how an X300 compares to a 7800GS but otherwise my system is close to yours and I can play retail fine. I've got a P4 2.66 and 1GB RAM.

Try turning down all the video settings in the demo before buying the game.
The game is very demanding, even on a great system. Which mine isnt
