Trouble getting mods to work
hmmm... so I've got three mods I want to run, but am having problems getting any of them to work.
My directory structure looks like this:
and my shorcut looks like this:Code:C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\AddOns ├─ @cent_tracer │ └─ AddOns │ ├─ @ModWarSound │ └─ AddOns │ └─ ArmA_OFPEC_Blood_Effect └─ AddOns
any suggestions?Code:"C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=@cent-tracer;ArmA_OFPEC_Blood_Effect;@ModWarSound;

Re: Trouble getting mods to work
Take those @modfolders out of Addons. Put them in the ArmA root directory. That should work. And I think you have an extra @ at the end of you shortcut on ModWarSound. You only need one at the start of the line.
"C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=@cent-tracer;ArmA_OFPEC_Blood_Effect;ModWarSound;

Re: Trouble getting mods to work
Whiskey, it may be those quotation marks in your shortcut target. I dont have them and my addons work.
Here is my target line in ArmA shortcut
EDIT: Shafik caught it. Those @modfolders should be in ArmA root directory.Code:C:\Games\ArmA\arma.exe -nosplash -disableVoN=1 -mod=@ModWarSound;@SIX_Tracers;@SIX_Misc;@Pack1

Re: Trouble getting mods to work
AFAIK, @ is necessary in target line for every folder with a @ in its name. It is a part of folder's name and used by community to name modfolders so that they will be sorted together in your ArmA folder. You dont have to use @, it could be # or any other character. Important thing is to have full folder name in target line of the shortcut.

Re: Trouble getting mods to work
Shafik is correct. You have to run the mod folders in ArmA's main folder.
