    BSOD on game launch

    Hi all. Finally got this game; US version, Atari DVD edition. I installed and updated to latest patch. Encountered at-launch BSOD. Reinstalled without the patch and get the same error.

    Symptom: At game launch, DVD spins up, status-bar/checkmarks show, then BSOD requiring system reboot.

    BSOD message reads...
    *** STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0X894DCCF8, 0XA9F1B294, 0X00000000)
    I'm running:
    Pentium D 805 2.66Ghz
    ASUS P5WD2-E Premium mobo
    CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
    Radeon x1800xt 512mb (7.6 Catalyst driver)
    SB Audigy SE

    Neither Speedfan, nor ATI Tool report any overheating immediately prior to the crash.

    I've looked over the ArmA/BIS forums and found other, somewhat similar problems, as well as here. But my symptoms are immediate, and I can't find anything like it.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Problem solved. Had to update my Audigy driver.
