I'll watch out for the IAT [into action time] and stand ready to go over the top all camo-ed and loaded out.

Re: where is every one
I check the server every evening and there's never anyone on all week. But when I do get a game on TG its worth the wait.

Re: where is every one
Well I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this way. I don't know what happened but the chances of getting a pick up game of Arma going have almost dissapeared. I think some of the newer games have got peoples attention (I bought COD 4 simply because some of the regular TG Arma guys are playing it). I think having one night a week, not a weekend, would be the way to go. It doesn't need to be a heavily structured event just a night that people are willing to jump on the Arma server for a while instead of their other games. Thursday works for me. Im est and won't be able to get on before 8:30pm.
I have to agree that the Sahrini Life mission was mildly entertaining the first time but now I don't even bother as it is just to "silly" for my Arma fix.
I hope we can revive the TG Arma community because as much as I enjoy playing COD4 I know that I'm going to get tired of it quickly once I max out my rank and perks.

Re: where is every one
You will always see waves and troughs with game activity. It's the nature of the beast. I too have checked the servers nearly every evening and have seen no activity.
But remember, sometimes all it takes is that first person to connect and seed the server to draw more players. That was the case for me last night and a couple of nights last week. I hopped on Teamspeak, connected to the server and saw no one was there, loaded up a small coop mission...and surfed the forums into some interest built. Pretty soon we had 6 or 8 players!|TG| LoyalGuard

Re: where is every one
Also remember that just signing in to teamspeak is enough to signal a willingness to play. For example, sign in to the co-op channel and hang out while you do something else. I tend to use teamspeak to see who is playing what and where, so if I see players logged in to the ArmA channels, I'll hop on and see what's up.
As for me playing, I'm hopping around between the new BF2 POE and PR, TF2 and ArmA. Lately I've been having a lot of fun with Sahrani Life in ArmA. Like I said though, I'll often sign in to teamspeak to see where the action is. If I see players in ArmA, I jump on.

Re: where is every one
yeh i reckon people just need to hang out on TS and wait for ppl to join, but we do need to get a night were all the TG arma guys come on, i think there was a sunday co op thing, but that never went to well, we need to do something abit more organized, and maybe have no respawns or only medic revive to really keep up the team play and emersion
.
I'll also make a new post soon called Arma players, i really wanna see how many people we have so we can arrange an arma night !

Re: where is every one
My view is similar to what Taxi said.
I joined TG for a real tactical experience of ArmA, which when we had 10-20 people playing Evolution all in separate elements we had, and it was great. I also had some really great times playing smaller co-op missions. But the organisation of the Evolution server never seemed to happen on larger co-op missions, everyone would just sit in one channel and it would be chaos.
Co-op is much better than Evolution in my eyes but I still went with Evo for the organisation. For me that's the big thing, organisation and I'd wager it's the same for many others too.
As for Sahrani Life, I just have no interest in that at all, and I don't really see how it fits in to TG.
Anyway, I'd be happy to play ArmA at TG more if things were like the way they were when I first joined.

Re: where is every one
This thread needs to happen. If someone has taken issues with any manner in which ArmA is played here, by all means discuss it. I encourage each and every one of you to participate so we can make improvements that help TG and the community.
We have offered several forms of gameplay here, so you ALL have choices. If the 2 choices do not suit your needs, than so be it. TG is not for you. Please do not sit there and be hyper critical of half the issues while at the same time ignoring the other half of things here.
The variety here is not to be found anywhere else. If there is something more we can do to accommodate all of you, please inform us.
That being said, any slanderous remarks about anybody else will head this thread into oblivion. The Meek shall inherit the earth..... after we're through with it!

Re: where is every one
I came back to Arma a week ago and found the servers quite deserted. Nothing specific to TG I think because I see the same down trend on other servers. I guess this is the expected cycle for any game. It peaks then goes down when other games arrive on the market, then attract people again when patch and new content become available
