Re: TGU Classes
One time we were playing one of bravo 6's mission and there were no medics at all. We had a blackhawk and a spec ops team out in the field. sam hoy got injured severely while in battle so he pulled back and requested immideate casevac even though there was still fighting going on. It hapens once in a blue moon yes, but it does happen. It probaly no a neccacary skill though I guess

Re: TGU Classes
Funny you should say that but I had two today. Never hadthis before but playing domination earlier, with no medics about, I took in a BH to grab some guys with no legs and take them back to base. One of the muppets then decided to question my choppers skills as I landed in a narrow street and bumped a BRDM (the street was pretty packed with disused enemy armour) just as a counter attack was being launched, picked him up, manged to get out dodging enemy fire and get him back to base. Later he proclaims "I've never flown choppers in arma before - I'd like to try that sometime". I'd like to shoot him in the face sometime

With regards to learning it as a skill though, essentially you are just landing a chopper to pick someone up. We need to get guys trained up on basic infantry roles and conduct on the servers. Flying and driving should come later.Jex.

Re: TGU Classes
what I meant was not train pilots but rather to train the wounded soldier how to find a good LZ with good cover

Re: TGU Classes
That should be the case when any wounded player needs a medic. They should know to find cover and a place where it is safe for the medic to get to them. An important point the a lot of people don't realise. There is also a point to be made about people actually going to the medic rather than looking for extra kills.
